Cadbury

These illustrations were created for the Cadbury Easter campaign, commissioned by Bulletproof agency in Sydney through Watermark Creative in Auckland. They were designed specifically for point-of-sale stands in supermarkets across Australia and New Zealand.

The brief called for visuals that captured recognisable Australian and New Zealand springtime sensibilities, translating seasonal cues into a bold, retail-ready format.

Alongside the full-colour compositions, simplified versions were developed using a limited palette to ensure clarity and consistency across branded materials. These adaptations retained the character, playfulness and warmth of the original artworks while meeting practical production requirements. My background in graphic design is evident in the visual language: clean geometric structures form the foundation, softened by hand-drawn elements that introduce texture, movement and a human touch.

The project was created in collaboration with Stevie Mahardhika, who developed the bunny and provided rough sketches for all animal characters to ensure stylistic cohesion. Building on these initial drawings, I refined and unified the characters within a consistent illustrative system, creating a harmonious campaign world that remained lively, contemporary and highly legible in high-traffic retail settings.
