Simone was born in Auckland and she is a spiritual counsellor and naturopath, domestic violence & sword attack survivor. Simonne Butler experienced years of domestic violence, which culminated in her hands being chopped off with a samurai sword.

In her book Double-edged Sword Simonne is exposing domestic violence while inspiring hope healing, empowerment & positive change in the world. The book also celebrates the indomitable human spirit, its resilience, optimism and the ability to achieve a joyous life beyond pain, fear, shame, violence and self-hatred.

Her missions in life are domestic violence prevention by spreading awareness and inspiring hope, healing and empowerment to
all those that need it.
